How to make the best homemade blender salsa
Blender salsa is exactly what it sounds like. For most home chefs, creating salsa requires a handful of fresh ingredients and a blender or maybe a food processor. The ease at which you can add your favorite items and create a salsa is so ideal for a quick and easy snack!
Salsa recipes can really vary from one to another. I love using a mini food processor like this Cuisinart DLC 4 cup processor for making quick and simple salsa recipes without having to lug out tons of kitchen gadgets.
What are different types of salsas to make?
There are so many fun variations of salsa recipes out there. No longer do you just have to use classic red tomatoes. Here are a handful of other types you could try out…
- Fruity Salsas: Mango, pineapple, peach, strawberry, watermelon, or even kiwi. These are perfect for summer and can be paired with grilled fish, chicken, or even cinnamon chips.
- Spicy Salsas: Jalapeño, habanero, serrano, or even a roasted pepper salsa for depth of flavor.
- Unique Combos: Think corn and black bean, avocado, or even a “street corn” inspired salsa.
- Grilled Salsas: Salsas with charred or roasted vegetables bring a wonderful smoky flavor.
