Spring is officially here as of today and Easter is not far off! As much as I love hosting friends and family in my home on big holidays, I really don’t like stressing about setting a pretty table. I like pretty but also EASY.

And notice those sweet little carrots tucked away in the grass are actually ball point PENS!!! Ha, they are such fun and my kids love them. Also they would make great easter basket treats.

And who says you need to bake a fancy cake? Not me. I bought this sweet little cake from my local grocery store and I love that with just a few simple “upgrades” my cake is now perfect for an Easter celebration with friends and family! Also everyone should own a simple white cake stand for these types of events.
