INSIDE : Tips on how to create Kid Friendly Colorful faux Pumpkins for this Fall and Autumn season with minimal effort involved! All these are very kid friendly.
This is such a simple and easy project. It would be a blast to have your kids join in on it, too!
I went to my local Hobby Lobby craft store and bought a package of seven small faux pumpkin. I got out my craft paints, I used simple acrylic paint, and gave all the pumpkins a coat or two of fresh color. Goodbye yellow and orange, hello blue, green and black!
I set these pumpkins down at kiddo level. I believe in having some “no touch” decorations and having some kid friendly accessible decorations available for them to touch, play with and even roll around a bit.
And you can even take it a step further and let your kiddos add white polka dots to the pumpkins!
What kiddo safe decorations have you done recently?

Thank you for the FB feature, Kristi!
Your painted pumpkins are great! I may just have to do this next year. I love the untradional-ness of it. 🙂
These are kiddo perfect! I agree, they need stuff they can feel comfortable touching without hearing NO all the time 🙂 would love you to share at our Halloween Party http://www.2crochethooks.com/1/post/2013/10/snickerdoodle-sunday-and-zombie-tissues.html
Thanks for the invite to your link party! I stopped by and share a few things.
What a great idea! There are so many different colors that you could paint the pumpkins. I think my kids would really enjoy this project.

Such fun colors!
I love that you used turquoise and green with your pumpkins… so much more fun than just plain orange!
Thanks, Elise! I thought it was kind of crazy but enjoyed the non.orange colors, too.
