Last year I made a Felt Pumpkin and completely fell in love. This year, I have made a more geometric pumpkin. Maybe this year’s pumpkin is a little less wedding bouquet-esque and more natural geometric but I’m okay with that. Today I will be sharing how I crafted this fun Bean Pumpkin.

My supplies were very simple.
Lentils | Red Kidney Beans | White Kidney Beans | White Pumpkin | Paint + Hot Glue
The first step was drawing on the triangle pattern with a pencil… I just freehanded this, it doesn’t have to be perfect.
I noticed that even with getting the beans as close as possible, you could still see the underneath showing through. So, I quickly painted in my triangles with brown and green acrylic paint.
Then it was simply bean by bean, using hot glue to secure.
Simple, clean, perfect.
Have you used beans in any of your DIYs? Because I maybe have hundreds of spare beans sitting around the house now!
