Today is our final Knock Off Knock Out day! Our inspiration store this month is Anthropologie. The first of each month, five bloggers all have shared a knock off project from a pre-selected home decor store. Be sure to check at the bottom of this post for the other amazing projects from Zara Home, West Elm and Urban Outfitters. Today I am sharing how to make a Gold Duck Tape Necklace.

Who doesn’t adore Anthropologie? I mean I can’t afford a single thing in there, but I love just walking around, smelling their heavenly candles and checking out their uber creative set displays!
So two weeks ago, I was doing above mentioned walking around, smelling candles and checking out displays when I saw this STUNNING Layered Salton Necklace
. I really fell in love but there was just no way I could buy a necklace for $68. Perfect timing for this knock off series!
Paper Punches of various sizes
This was such a quick project and I honestly could not be happier with the results. It took me less than an hour from start to finish.
2. Using a paper punch to punch out circles for the necklace. I ended up using about fourteen or so circles.
3. Starting in the center of the necklace, fold a gold circle in half and use hot glue to secure it down.
4. Slowly work your way around the necklace, adding gold circles as needed.
I mixed in a few bigger circles with some smaller ones on one of the strands for a varied look.
I asked my hubs to take some pictures of the finished necklace. And after like 30 pictures, I was like, “Are you even getting the necklace??!!” He said, “OH! I thought you wanted pictures of yourself.” This is me laughing at him.
I love the gold shimmer.
I love the gold layering.
I can not believe how elegant it looks for only being duck tape!
This was possibly my favorite knock off yet!!
Be sure to check out the other amazing ladies
in this series this month!
