I really love hoya plants. This Hoya Silver Splash is my third. I love their thicker waxy leaves and this one has such a beautiful elongated narrow leaf with fun silver specks all over it.
I have my plant sitting out on our coffee table and my Hoya Silver Splash grows these long 2′ tendrils that just wing out all over the place. It’s so wild and organic looking and I love it. When it gets too out of control, I just trim the tendril and he’s as happy as can be!

Hoya pubicalyx is native to the Philippines. It thrives in tropical environments and is often found growing in rainforests and often can be found clinging to trees and rocks in its natural habitat.
Best tips for caring for a Hoya Silver Splash
Hoya Silver Splash thrives in bright, indirect light. They like to be moderately watered – allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings (I typically water once a week).
If you are able to provide warm temperatures in your home and higher humidity levels your hoya will have it’s most optimal growth.

How often should I water a Hoya Silver Splash?
Water your Hoya Silver Splash every 1-2 weeks or when the top inch of soil feels dry.
A good rule of thumb is to wait until the top inch of soil is dry before watering. This could be every week or two, depending on factors like temperature, humidity and pot size.
Remember, it’s better to underwater a Hoya than to overwater it. If you’re unsure, it’s always safer to wait another day or two before watering this plant.
