Nothing beats outdoor games, am I right? And even better is when those outdoor games are super sized.
Today is the third of my four Colorful outdoor games, have you seen the others yet? I shared Outdoor Pickup Sticks, Outdoor Dominos and today are these Large DIY Colorful Dice!
These die are about a 3″ width, so they are perfect for little hands, too.
How to use Outdoor Dice
Outdoor Dice are a fun and versatile way to enjoy games in the great outdoors. Unlike traditional indoor dice, outdoor dice are often made from durable materials like wood, foam, stone or plastic to withstand the elements.
They can be used for a variety of games from classic dice games like Craps and Yahtzee to creative outdoor-themed games. Whether you’re camping, picnicking or simply spending time in your backyard, outdoor dice offer a convenient and entertaining way to add some excitement to your activities.

Colorful Dice
First things, first. The colors are such fun, right? I choose cheerful bright colors, but you could use any color you like. Wouldn’t fourth of July holiday themed dice be amazing?!! Or Halloween colored dice? Endless color options here to fit the occassion!
And if you are looking for pretty pastel colored dice, be sure to check these out. They are about 1.5″ in size and foam, but still very fun.
Dice Game Bag
And what kind of dice game could you possibly have without an adorable bag to carry and store them in? I stamped a simple cloth drawstring bag with black acrylic paint to hold our game. Easy and cute!
Have you seen the new trend of using mesh bags to hold all your board games? It cuts down on so much wasted space and really is a genius idea! Check out these three perfect mesh bags – Option 1, Option 2, Option 3.
Our weather has cooled and we have been having such fun rolling these Dice around in our backyard… now to just learn the rules of “dice”. Or whatever other game you use Dice for – ha!
Okay, quick tell me… what games would YOU use these fun Dice for?

This turned out SO cute! I can picture us making good use of this game all through the fall season, too 🙂
These are so fun! They’d be perfect for fall cookouts and tailgating.
We’ve had such fun with them! And tailgating is a great idea!!
So cute, Amy! I love the colors you’ve been using for this series. This is such a perfect time of year for outdoor games too, cooler, less humid, less bugs!
I think I had just as much fun picking out the colors for this series as I did creating each game! Thanks friend.
