INSIDE : Diving into the Delineate Your Dwelling Reader Survey Results and some of my plans for 2019 based off the great feedback from my readers.
It has taken me a month to really get into the new year. I hit 2019 running and then fizzled because crazy life. Also because 2018 was so full to the brim, that I just needed some time to settle into this new year.
I’m a firm believer in setting goals and my goals are big. But I first wanted to start with chatting with you all, my readers, and that happened in the form of a survey. Getting that feedback is going to be so incredibly helpful in guiding me and definitely will change a few plans I had in mind.
So, a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in my blog survey (and a congratulations to Lisa for winning my West Elm gift card giveaway!). Without further ado let’s get to the DYD Reader Survey Results + 2019 Plans!
Question 1 : How old are you?
I love to see that my readers are growing with me. For quite some time my readers were younger than me, but now it looks like most of you fall in the 31+ age crowd… and I’m definitely in the 31 PLUS age range now, wahhhhh. 😉
Question 2 : What kind of Delineate Your Dwelling reader are you?
Yay, 50% of you are full time followers! Followed by 29% of you being newbie followers… welcome all you new folks. So glad to have you joining the ranks of Delineate Your Dwelling. Are you part of our DYD Insiders newsletter group because that is a great place to get started with a light overview of all things creative, organized and pretty!
Question 3 : Are you already subscribed to my DYD Insider Newsletter?
I was so happy to hear that 47% of you who took the survey were already getting my newsletter and 13% of you signed up to join right then and there. I love when people join my list because you gain access to my ENTIRE printable library… which I believe is currently around 40+ printables.
Question 4 : Have you seen any of my Facebook LIVE “Crafting with Amy” segments?
So, interestingly only 38% of you have seen one of my Facebook LIVE videos. I have done 14 LIVE crafting with Amy videos so far! And I try to hop over to Instagram shortly after and do a LIVE recap of our project. But I like doing them on Facebook because they can live there, where as on Instagram they go away after 24 hours. I’m still trying to work on a better system because many of you commented you’d prefer them on Instagram.
Question 4 : What type of Facebook LIVES would be most appealing for you to watch? I currently only do crafting on LIVES.

There were also a ton of you that said you love the crafting segments. Also, many said you’d rather watch them on the blog, well good news there because most of my videos I then turn into blog posts with the videos embedded!
Question 5 : What are your favorite TWO social medias?
I was happy to see that Instagram (Instagram Stories) and Pinterest were your two favorite social media platforms because that is currently where I spend most of my time. Facebook was a close runner up and I’ve been trying to have more of a presence there with doing LIVE videos.
Question 6 : What kind of posts are your favorite?
You all are loving DIY crafts, Organization and Free Printables the very most – yay! That is the type of content that I most often share. I don’t share as many product roundups, but after hearing that I did share one on buffet tables I have been keeping my eye on. Also food recipes came in there as a close contender.
Question 7 : I’d love to offer more low priced ebooks this year. What topics are of most interest to you?
