Last year starting in early January, I got the Valentine’s Day bug in a big way.  Like, I’ve never ever ever made pink and red crafts and last year, I made five or so.  I’m not sure what came over me, but this year I’m feeling much more… me.  Today, I’m excited to be sharing the start of my few neutral Valentine’s Day crafts.  See below for how to make this Mixed Material Geometric Heart wall decor.

My first step was drawing out a geometric shaped heart and delineating the inside line work.

Next, start filling in all the different shapes.

I decided I wanted a black matte background, so I went with chalkboard paint to create that look.

Then, I hot glued a small rope to the back to hang.

    1. You are so kind, Lindi! It’s a simple project that could be translated to many different applications, too.
