Valentine’s Day Wreath

I love dressing up my front door with simple wreaths for each season.  This year, I assembled a grapevine Valentine’s Day wreath together in less than a half hour.  I loved how carefree and organic it looks.  You can see below for how you can create one of your very own!

I bought a heart shaped grape vine wreath as the base from Hobby Lobby store, you can find these at your local craft supply stores.

Then using pink, red and fuchsia felt, I created simple felt flowers.  These flowers can be made in just moments and then I was able to secure them with hot glue.

After sticking in a few additional embellishments, it was done.  A pretty pink ribbon to tie up the wreath and my front door had it’s new spring look!

  1. I just got a grapevine twig wreath and haven not yet figured out what to do with it but you inspired me with the felt rosettes. I love them! This looks great Amy!

  2. This is so pretty Amy! I don’t have anything up on my door yet, but since I’ve gotten better at door decor I better get on it or my little lady will be disappointed! Pinning!

  3. I love it Amy! I can’t believe we’re midway through this month already and that Valentine’s Day will be here soon. Need to dig out my Valentine’s wreath for the front door. Thanks for the inspiration. 🙂

  4. I’m a huge fan of wreaths! But one of my new year’s resolutions is to save money this year. Part of me wonders if I could actually put one together using branches I find in the park.. lol.

Its a beautiful touch Amy! Do you do wreaths for every season/holiday?

    1. I hear you, Annie! I actually do wreaths for each season, but I recycle the wreaths each year. So, even if I make a new wreath, I use my old wreath form from the previous year (the most expensive part normally!). Thanks for stopping by.
