Modern Christmas Nativity Scene
INSIDE : Learn how to create a gorgeous Modern Christmas Nativity Scene that can sit on your tabletop or fireplace mantle. This fun DIY project even has a fun Scandinavian feel to it.
I have a soft spot in my heart for both wooden craft projects AND nativity scenes! Way back in the very beginning days of my blog, I created a Nativity Scene out of clothespins and balsa wood.
Today I am back with another wooden Nativity Scene project, although I think I love this one so much more!
You can check out the full tutorial and the supply list over at Oriental Trading’s FUN365 site.
I think my favorite part is the moody teal color I used on the wooden manger’s roof. I thought it paired so nicely with the frosty evergreen greenery.
I really loved the simple wooden manger and then hanging the black believe ornament with Baby Jesus. All the supplies are found at OTC.
And then added battery operated tea light candles adds just the perfect amount of flicker without the worry of a real life flame.
Don’t forget to pin this project now and save it for your next crafting session.
