Spring is just around the corner and I can feel a slight change in the air! One of my favorite things to do once the weather starts getting warmer is to spend as much time outside as possible. After being trapped indoors for a few wintery months, I’ll take any excuse to spend some time in the Spring sunshine. Today starts a three part series sharing adorable Spring Picnic DIYs. So, let’s talk cheerful Spring Picnic Plates!
I teamed up with Shutterfly to create these adorably cheerful plaid Spring plates. They are high-quality BPA-free, food-safe and dishwasher-safe melamine, all good in my book! I simply could not believe how easy it was to upload my own designs to the Shutterfly website. You can also browse their large gallery of premade designs or you can customize items with your favorite pictures or designs.
I created this cheerful blue and mint plaid with the text “eat” at the bottom. You can download my pattern here to make a set of your very own! It’s really that simple.
Even though the weather has not completely warmed up yet, my children and I had a little indoor picnic just to test out the plates and they were perfect. I love that I can throw them in the dishwasher and not have to worry about them. Now my biggest obstacle is trying to convince my daughter they are my plates because she wants to keep them in her room for tea parties!
For the next two weeks, each Monday, I will be sharing my other Spring Picnic projects and they are about as cute and colorful as could be! Be sure to check out some of Shutterfly’s other home decor products. Some of my favorites are their Table Runners, Bedding and Placemats!
