First. I went to my local Hobby Lobby and bought my three supplies. A grapevine wreath, a bouquet of vibrant green silk leaves and three small twigs of crystal covered berries. I was half convinced to be done after just setting the leaves and berries on the wreath for my “supply shot”… isn’t it so beautiful in it’s simplicity?
I’ve teamed up with some amazing ladies and we are all posting our takes on a Holiday Wreath today. So, be sure to check at the end of my post to see links to all the other creative ideas, too!
I’m so excited to be sharing my simple but festive Holiday Wreath with you today.
Second. I cut off about a million of the leaves from the base of the silk plant. Starting at the top center of the wreath, start hot.gluing the leaves with the cut area facing inward. The idea with this wreath is layering.
Lots and lots and lots of layering. I kept glueing until you couldn’t see anymore of the grapevine wreath.
Three. I then pulled off all the small glittery red berries. Starting at the inner / top, I started hot.glueing the berries. I only glued them on the inside of wreath.
I loved the simplicity of the materials and colors.
Four. Using a simple red ribbon, tie and hang your wreath on the front door.
